Native Edinburgh

Inspired by ‘The Inventors’, the interiors takes inspiration from the surrounding terrace wall plaques indicating the birthplace of many great Scottish inventors. From the artwork to styling, hints of these inventors are subtly acknowledged throughout the spaces.

Amber whiskey tones and Midnight teals stolen from the night sky above the Georgian facades of Edinburgh’s New Town, built for the thriving Scottish Whisky Barons of the time, influence the overall palette of the Native Aparthotels. The lobby space with opulent rich green hues, botanical themed prints and greenery are inspired by the neighbouring Royal Botanic Garden. The Heritage colour palette is illuminated by impressive Georgian windows, complimented by mid-century furniture and lighting.
